3 Easy Ways To Develop Your Sixth Sense, Contributed by Anonymous

in #senses6 years ago

When I was 14 years old, my mom told me, "Use your sixth sense, son." I scratched my head because I didn't know there was such a thing. At that time, all I knew were the five senses that humans possess naturally.

When I asked my mom about this extra sense, she taught me the definition and the methods to develop it. Today, I want to explain this to you.

The Senses and Beyond

Everyone possesses five main senses: smell, sound, sight, taste, and touch. But some people believe there is an additional one that is not perceived by physical sensations. So while the first five allow us to understand things that exist physically around us, the sixth sense enables us to perceive non-material things, even sometimes without fully realizing them.

Sounds exciting, right? It's great to feel things based on instincts without prior knowledge. Some people describe it as intuition.

How To Develop a Sixth Sense

In this article, we'll explore some ways together.

1. Gain More Experience In Your Life

Intuition involves quickly processing information and giving a quick judgment. Often, this happens right after meeting someone. Even though the person is completely new to you and you don't know his past, you make a judgment about whether you like them.

This process will only be quick if you have enough experience. Living alone in your home and not going outside will result in less accurate intuition. When you go outside and meet new people, you gain more experience and therefore your sixth sense starts to develop quickly.

2. Pay Attention To Small Things

When you start noticing minute details, it makes you more aware of the nuances of each situation. Small variations become huge indicators of how interactions will play out. It can be related to someone's behavior or any other thing. Sometimes they warn you of big dangers, but only if you notice and pay attention to them.

If someone's behavior is changing, noticing that will help you respond. Your behavior will become your habit, and that will enable you to use the power of intuition properly.

3. Write Down Your Thoughts

Not only does writing things down help you figure out the way you think, but it also reveals creative ideas that go through your mind every day. We all are creative, but only some of us pay attention to our thoughts.
Always keep a book and pen with you and write down anything you consider interesting or important.

Continue jotting down thoughts throughout the day and spare some time to read whatever you've written. You can allow yourself to get lost in your daydreams and understand things that don't physically exist around you. That's part of the sixth sense.

The idea of sixth sense occurred to me few years ago and ever since then I've been working on my sense of perception. Great tips from you @community coin, I will add these 3 to my toolbox.

Experience is good. But spending time with only your own thoughts while marveling at the universe is yet another way to develop the extra senses. And I'm glad you use the develop because that's exactly what happens. Don't be afraid to love yourself.

Sixth sense can b natural. I used to be a cricket lover in my childhood, i watxhed and played many gully cricket. Now a dys i rarely get a chance to take out time to watch or play, still whenever i get chance to watch live matches on TV., and if i say smtjing like the next ball will b 6 or the next ball the wicket fals....it happenss...not sure it is just intution or my prediction of things but it happen.

Also to add sixth sense can be developed by analysing things ...the more you analyse like behaviour of your closed ones, u will get to know whT next coming from them......s

Something very interesting stuff
