Here's my day 2 entry for the seven days of love challenge, hosted by @deadgrlsuppastar.

Poems don't have to rhyme right? I've never been good at poems.

Love was, is, and will be

Love was nervous smiles and passionate make-out sessions
Love was missing him after 5 minutes of being gone
Love was talking for hours on the phone and never wanting to hang up
Love was any time, any where, as often as possible

Love is hugs that go a little longer but not long enough
Love is dinner while the grandparents watch the kids
Love is playing hide and seek and pretending you can't see the wiggling toddler
Love is quiet in the morning so the kids don't interrupt

Love will be worrying when the kids start driving and stay out late
Love will be wrinkles and grey hair, everywhere
Love will be whatever we make it
Love will be like a fine wine, even better with age
