Definition of a sexless marriage = less that 11 times in a year.

A friend of mine is in a sexless marriage. And I really have pity with her husband. When our friends are over we sometimes openly discuss sex. And she does not participate. And I can see him look envious at the other men. He is not a very handsome guy and I sometimes wonder if he ever considered having an affair or go to a prostitute. And I would understand. I would. Really. And I’m not a man clearly.

But I also pity him as sex is not only important for the stress release, the fact it is fun, it gives just an excellent feeling. It is also important for connection.
Yes yes, hugging and touching is important, loving each other and treating each other in a loving way. All relevant, but nothing bonds better than having sex on a regular basis. It is really important to men. Yes the bonding I’m talking about. Not just the horny sex part. The release of oxytocin’s are the highest for men during sex. This is the hormone that makes you feel a bonding experience. And doing it more often releases also more for men. This release is actually higher for woman, hence that most woman attach themselves more easily to men in a one night stand than men to woman, but let’s leave that fact aside for now. Woman also feel attached when they get cuddled and hugged, while men experience less bonding.
