Hello!

This is my first post here on steemit and I have to admit I'm more than a little excited at the prospect of sharing the world of Sex Work in Australia with the steemit community.

I've been doing Sex Work for quite some time now and it only just occurred to me that some may find what I do interesting enough to read about. It may come as a surprise to many, but here in the homeland of Kangaroos and meat pies, prostitution has been legal for nearly 40 years. Though laws differ from state to state, for the most part, it's not unusual for Escorts here in Australia to work from home.

Since I began working in this industry over 5 years ago, I've worked from my home, hotels, visited clients in theirs and even worked in brothels. I've seen the whole country (and parts of Europe) thanks to the generosity of my clients. Sex work has given me the freedom to create my own hours, set my own income and most importantly be my own boss.

I'm a plus size lady (also known in the industry as a BBW) so some of insights will be unique and some wont be. But the thing to keep in mind when you read anything written by me is that I don't speak for all Sex Workers. My experiences are just that - my own. They aren't illustrative of a "typical sex worker" and I don't for a moment think that I'm the authority on all things sex work. I'm just a gal, doing my thing and hoping to share a little of my life with you all.

The plan for this blog is to post 2-3 times a week. I'll interview my co-workers, clients, even be making some video content and to let you step into my world through other forms of media.

I'm also hoping that by starting this blog here on steemit I can share my love of the Sex Work industry, draw some attention to some of the bad things, give my commentary on issues we Sex Workers face and of course, answer questions from you the reader.

My understanding is that its customary here on steemit to provide evidence that I'm who I say I am. I've listed my twitter handle below, where I'll send out a tweet with a link to this article once I go live.
