LA CONVIVENCIA
EN EL COLEGIO

El colegio es un verdadero laboratorio de convivencia, un semillero de ciudadanos en el que se refuerzan los principios que guían la ética personal y se aprenden las nociones básicas de las principales disciplinas del conocimiento y la vida en sociedad.

EL NUEVO COMPAÑERO
DE CURSO

Estamos en plena hora de clase, cuando el director entro, seguido de un novato que vestía traje de campesino, y de un mozo cargado con un gran pupitre. Los que dormían se despertaron, y cada cual se levanto fingiendo ser sorprendido en su trabajo. El director nos hizo señas de que podíamos continuar sentados, y se dirigió al profesor: -señor Roger- le dijo a media voz-, le recomiendo este nuevo discípulo, que entrara con los de quinto curso. Si su trabajo y su conducta son meritorios, pasara con los mayores, como reclama su edad.
Quieto en un rincón, casi detrás de la puerta, apenas veíamos al novato, que era un muchachote de pueblo, de unos quince años aproximadamente, y mas alto que cualquiera de nosotros (…)
Comenzamos el repaso de las lecciones, y el novato nos escuchaba con tanta atención y religiosidad como si oyese un sermón, no atreviéndose a moverse para cruzar las piernas o apoyar el codo. Cuando, al dar los dos, sonó la campana, el profesor tuvo que llamarle la atención para que se colocara en fila con nosotros (…)
-póngase de pie -exclamo el profesor.
Al levantarse para recogerla, un codazo del vecino volvió a tirársela, y tuvo necesidad de recogerla de nuevo.
-¡suelte usted esa gorra! -grito el profesor, burlándose también.
Las carcajadas fueron tan generales, que desconcertaron al pobre muchacho, el cual no sabia ya si seguir con la gorra en la mano, tirarla o ponérsela (…)

THE CONVIVIALITY
IN THE COLLEGE

The college is a real laboratory of conviviality, a citizens' seedbed in which there are reinforced the beginning(principles) that guide the personal ethics and are learned the basic notions of the principal disciplines of the knowledge and the life in company(society).

THE NEW COMPANION
OF COURSE(YEAR)

We are in the full hour of class, when the director I enter, followed(consecutive) by a novice who was dressing suit of peasant, and of a young boy loaded with a great desk. Those who were sleeping woke up, and everyone I raise pretending to be surprised in his(her,your) work. The director did to us signs of which we could continue sat, and went to the teacher: - gentleman Roger - said to him(her) to half a voice-, I recommend him this new disciple, who was entering with those of fifth course(year). If his(her,your) work and his(her,your) conduct are meritorious, it(he,she) was happening(passing) with the major ones, since he(she) claims his(her,your) age.
Still in a corner, almost behind the door, scarcely we saw the novice, who was a hefty lad of people(village), of approximately fifteen years approximately, and mas high place that any of us (…)
We begin the revision of the lessons, and the novice was listening to us with so many attention and religiousness as if it(he,she) heard a sermon, not daring to move to cross the legs or to support the elbow. When, on having given the two, the bell sounded, the teacher had to be call him the attention in order that he(she) was placing in row with us (…)
-póngase of foot - I exclaim the teacher.
On having got up to gather her, a nudge of the neighbor returned to throw(shoot) her to him(you,them), and needed to gather her again.
-Suelte you this cap! - I shout the teacher, joking also.
The guffaws were so general, that disconcerted the poor boy, who not wise already if to continue with the cap in the hand, to throw(shoot) her or to put on it (…)
