What were your thoughts about Kansas?
Before we started Kansas, both of us assumed the state would be flat and boring. However, we have found the place to have amazing rolling hills tha hide beautiful places tucked into the valleys. We have not been let down at all by this state.

PS:PS: Is there a special reason for you to tour the Kansas counties in that way? That is, under what criteria do you select the next county to visit?

We usually pick a few places we want to see and then figure out the basic route. In this case we want went to Salina to be our start out point and wanted to go to the center of the lower 48 states. Scott wanted to see the Monument Rocks and I wanted to see Dodge City. Then we realize we could grab three more Oklahoma State Parks on the way home so down it was.
