Nom Nom Nom — it’s Saturday! #showmeyourburger
Hi friends,
So i had 90 minutes to kill before my next appointment, it’s raining, and i’m wearing flip flops. Sounds like burger-time to me! Conveniently, there’s a “Whitespot” restaurant a block away. (Whitespot is a 100 year old chain here in BC, that is a veritable institution! Think super gourmet for an old folks home crossed with family restaurant.) Anyway, their Legendary burgers are freakin’ delicious. I get ‘em without lettuce&t, and they otherwise have red relish and “triple-o sauce” on them but that’s it. However, the triple-o sauce is like some kind of extra magic, stupendous mayonnaise that’s like a savoury creme brûlée 🤯🤯🤯
Today i got the “double double,” (double meat, double cheese, double triple-o sauce, and double pickles too!) This is one of my all time favourite burgers — so tasty!
Nothing but love and flavour in there!

That's a true stomach boulder. There"s a place like that by me called the Lantern. Its not a chain but has been around for 80 years. They cook on straight charcoal. The burgers are great. After every concert when I was younger we hit that place up.

As I sit here eating my lunch, this is now making me hungrier. You can tell from the pic alone this is some over the top tastiness. And the fries look good too.
