In October, a British man legally changed his middle name to show love for one of his favorite brands. Nathan Yorkshire Tea Garner took the step after a co-worker said that because of his habit of consuming 20 cups of Yorkshire tea a day he probably should have changed his name.
Although Garner took steps to show his love for Yorkshire Tea on his own initiative (though the company rewards his dedication by providing goody bag), how many people are willing to be approached by the brand directly to advertise the brand's products in an unusual and personal way ?
New YouGov Omnibus's research shows that 10% of respondents are willing to change their first name to a brand name they like. However, the means ... populer.
