Silver in SHTF - Does it Make You a Target? Worth The Risk?
Silver is Probably one of the Safest Investments i can Think of, But as with any Good Investment there is some sort of inherent risk involved. I suppose that you could make that assumption about anything in life. Nothing is safe and you could live your whole life with a full stocked bunker armed with a AK 47, mossbergs and desert eagles with 10,000 rounds of ammunition and Explosives Devices Scattered on your lawn. But After your done killing the Zombie Hordes you go down into your bunker slip down the stairs on the blood of your enemies then crack your head open or You choke and die on the Very food your stored to Ensure Survival. When it comes to Money and Different forms of such, what would be the Best Way to go? Everyone has atleast some idea of what Silver may be worth and Gold is a Definite Guaranteed Value as far as people knowing by Sight. At the end of the Day i would say Silver would be the Best Way to Hold Your Wealth In SHTF and In Every day Safe Savings Funds or For a Fun Investment that has a low risk and a Nice Looking Potential for a High Reward and Silver Stacking can Double as a Hobby and if it never goes up then it is still a Great Prep, Which Is Probably Why Stacking And Prepping go Somewhat Hand in Hand. Silver Has Held its Place as a Valuable Metal and Currency for Thousands of years and That Probably will never Change Especially With all the Industrial and Future industrial uses of Silver on the rise. But no matter how good something may seem it is always a greater asset to understand and compensate for the disadvantages everything in life is bound to have. This question comes up a lot.
First a word of advice, discover the paragraph, go in and edit this post so it is readable, otherwise it will be ignored.
Silver is a store of value, like gold. During a SHTF event, you should have what you need to survive in the short term; water, medical supplies, food, guns & ammunition, secure shelter and electrical power, propane, gasoline, etc. in that order.
If you have 3 hots and a cot, you are good.
After the dust settles and things are back to normal or the new normal, Silver and Gold may have value and be useful to buy/barter for anything you need. Maybe, maybe not. A pack of toilet paper may have more value than an ounce of Silver, who knows.
My advice, is get what you need to survive, 1 week, 2 weeks, 30 days, etc. Maybe set a goal of 6 months of supplies. Once you feel you are good buy some 1oz Silver coins. If you are in the U.S. get them from the mint. People are more comfortable with their national currency, so if you're in Britain or Canada, get Silver coins from those countries, etc.
Just remember, you can't eat Gold and Silver.

Hey man Money is Money but not all Currency is Created Equal. Whether they prefer Cryptos, Silver, Fiats, or Stocks Other Peoples Ideas Have No Bounds to me if they have no Facts. Let them Try to Debunk Silver but it will Always be Here for me and others to Hold. Cryptos are cool as well and Great in Different ways maybe even better than Silver in many. I say just do it all! It doesent Cost much to start up Steem, Even Free if you try Hard. I have Nothing Against Making Money if you want to do the Work as long as your not hurting Anything or anyone but Still many people Feel the need to Judge others investments.
