The final approval was given in July last year for the launch of MNP in Bangladesh. In order to change the operator, the customer will have to go to the customer care center (NID) regarding the information related to the operators (who are interested in going). Customers do not need to take pictures due to automatic operation. Subscriber will be given a new SIM after submitting the prescribed fee at customer care. According to the rules, new SIM will be introduced in 72 hours. Once the operator changes, the customer will have 90 days in the new operator.

When finalizing the MNP policy in July, it was said that the customer will have to pay 30 taka or the fee to change the operator.
