Unboxing the newest attribution to my personal running accessories collection.
It's Skinners
These are not real shoes. They are more like extra durable socks.
Opening the box reveals...
... a pair of Skinners and a bag.
My first impression is a favorable one. Socks seem to be very sturdy and well manufactured. Of course, the use will tell the story.
Tomorrow I will take them for a run. I expect a great experience.
Are you familiar with Skinners? Or any similar minimalist running footwear?
Never heared of Skinners but I own a pair of Luna sandals.

I was thinking of ordering a pair when Born to run was popular.
A friend of mine is making them at home. I just might ask him to make a pair for me.

Only for short summer runs. Don’t have finger socks so very seasonal running gear.

There are no excuses for a consistent runner, you just have to adapt yourself to the conditions of your surroundings with the available resources.
