Slothicorn is getting a total rebrand. We are looking for a simple, futuristic logo, icon (for steemit, Twitter and Discord) and profile header, as well as some footer graphics. We are looking for a futuristic font and a simple design for the logo.

Submissions can be posted on April 16, and winning entries will be announced on the following days.

Here are the SBD rewards for the top 3 designs:

1st Place: 30 SBD

While we will only officially be using the 1st Place design for our new logo, we are offering prize money so that more designers have more chances to win rewards. We want something very simple and futuristic that can be used for a variety of purposes.

What is Slothicorn?

Slothicorn is an artist collective on the Steem blockchain whose mission is two-fold:

1. To help artists become educated in the new crypto economy.
2. To help cryptocurrency go mainstream through art.

We encourage and promote the creation of cryptocurrency-themed, and Creative Commons art, however Slothicorn is not exclusive to those categories. We are artist-centered which means we let artists decide which license fits them, either All Rights Reserverd or Creative Commons. We are an open-source project and have our code on Github. We believe the world can be a better place if talented artists are not starving, but are instead freely able to share their gifts with humanity while being rewarded crypto for doing so.

Design Requirements

Logo

Create a logo in a vector format and also provide transparent PNG files.
Make a logo that works in full color (if necessary), flat and one color.

Icon

For STEEM, Twitter and discord.
The icon can be taken from the logo or designed separately.
Consider both are circle spaces and are small.
Provide vector and PNG files.

Profile banner

For STEEM platforms.
Consider the space for the info in the middle.
Provide editable and PNG files.

Footer Graphics

For the bottom of posts.
Consider the icons with links for twitter, discord, website,
Provide editable and PNG files.
So, in total that is 4 separate things that need to be designed.

Slothicorn is having growing pains, and a rebrand of our logo is the first step in getting truly organized. A few months ago, it was myself (@stellabelle), @inquiringtimes and @mikepm74 talking together in an empty Slothicorn Discord channel. Now there are more than 350 people who have come into our group. It’s time to get more organized and buckle down. It starts with a good logo.
