Gayo Horse Racing

Horse race is a Gayo tribe tradition, in the province of Aceh, Indonesia. The racetrack tradition has been started since 1850 in the cold air of the Gayo Highlands.

Initially the horse race tradition was played when the harvest season arrived. Along with the development of horse race in Gayo diperlombakan on big days. And has become an annual event in a tourist town.
