My ArtVenture: Acrylic painting "Little Angler"
Hello dear Steemians,
We have had two nice sunny weekend days, living in North we are grateful to have such wonderful sunny days, especially because the daylight comes very early almost 3-4 o'clock in the morning you see how the sky becomes blue and there is so much light everywhere. By 5 o'clock we have already first sun rays.
Like it is usual here by that temperature 16-18 but when the sun shining people are in summer clothes, flip flops, shorts and T-shirts. Because we are directly at the coast so you can see people enjoying sun shine and salty sea air with the scent of seaweed. That what I love the most, little children enjoying their days too, playing on sand beach.
The highlight was a little girl who was with her father angler, she had her own rod too and was in the mood of angling couple of nice fishes, I presume as a present for her mum, as it was Mother's day yesterday.
The picture was very Sunny, although I thought it would be darker judging by the sketches.

Thank you, first time that I did painting from the back, one on side easy because you do not need to do face but on the other side there are the areas where you need to do shadows like the knee pit that was a bit unusual, but at the end I liked how it turned out :)
Great sense of colour and movement in "The Little Angler". Like you I live by the sea and like nothing better than walking on the beach.
Thank you for your nice comment, I can imagine how enjoyable it is especially in South France, I mean from weather and nature point of view. I can't judge the place as I have never been there but I hope you and your family enjoying it :)
Narbonne is an old Roman city so there is lots of history and its very pretty, sitting on the Canal du Robine and Canal du Midi which are stunning for walking and cycling, as well as the Mediterranean just 15 mins away.

The sun is a joy for children in the first place. Their games in the sand are always adorable. This girl dreams that she will catch the biggest fish. It is expressive and emotional, although we do not see the face of the child ...
The children are so pure their intentions and wishes are coming really from their hearts, therefore I love to draw and paint children, thank you for visiting my painting :)
I also like drawing children. The only pity is that they can not sit in one place for long enough, I have to use the imagination )
