I particularly picked interest in this proposal, because of the massive support it has received so far from the SmartCash community members that took the time out to look at the proposal and vote on it. I also decided to take a closer look at this proposal, and i was not disappointed by what i read. In fact i was so impressed with this proposal, that i decided to share it here on steemit, for smarties that are yet to see it or vote on it... and also for non-smarties who may come to key into smartcash and its huge potentials through the reading of this post when they see it in their steemit feed.

Summary

Nigeria being one of the African Nations with the highest population is filled with alot of unbanked citizens who lack trust for government controlled institutions . With only a few of the country’s citizens being aware of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, it is a great opportunity to increase the awariness, adoption, acceptance and follwership of smartcash in this Nation. I being the chairman of the Nigerian Union of Women Journalists , Kaduna State Chapter; intend to introduce journalists to decentralization and cryptocurrency through conferences and workshops; With journalists who are key players in the dissemination of information in the scene, it won’t take long before Nigeria is turned into a Smartcash Nation with a huge amount of its populace being aware of cryptocurrency and having Smartcash being the first cryptocurrency they bought.

Objective

The core objective of this proposal is to create mass awareness for Smartcash in Nigeria by holding three (3) conferences and workshops in three Nigerian states which are mainly centered on journalists (and other press personnels) who would in turn write and publish articles about Smartcash in various media. We will be setting up a Smartcash Journalists Union in each state, and these union will be made up of various types of press personnels ranging from news-caster, journalists to bloggers. Members of this union will be given the duty of promoting Smartcash through various press mediums.

Why I chose Smartcash

Since my discovery and adoption of cryptocurrency, I have researched and used a handful of cryptocurrencies but my love for Smartcash grew after I bought my first Smartcash and participated in the voting of some proposals. Knowing that everyone in the community has a voice and opinion that is respected no matter the amount of Smartcash you have in your wallet made me want to be part of its community as well as contribute my quota to its goal and overall success.
