Ice waves on Moon Lake
For those of you posting spring blooms and fair weather walks we here in Wisconsin cannot escape winter. The cold and wind persisting. The amount of ice on the lake is amazing for April 6.
Just earliers this week there was open water close to the shore. With chunks of broken ice here and there.
Then the wind direction changed and shoved all the ice our way.
It is really a cool natural cycle. I try to check out the progress every day. The pictures I took yesterday capture the drama, so to speak. I had a good time editing...that is how I got the title 'Ice Waves on Moon Lake'. That's what it looks like to me. Some are unedited. Hope you enjoy.
All taken with my LG30 cel. By me.
OMG...That O-Zone layer is really disturbing especially for you over there i hope that ice finds it's way out real soon :)
I have to admit, this sucks. Knowing spring is kicking in in a lot of areas, we still yet have snow in the forecast later this week. :(
OMG ....This is not good i will do a spring dance for you tonight and hopefully it will scare that snow away ....hehe :)
