Walked in or through, many times.

And always found a new item to look at or be amazed by. It seems to have several different personalities, the before 10 AM quiet side, the 11 AM busy and frantically paced side. This continues until just after 9 PM as much as I can remember. Then happens again the next day. So many shops, not the high end, they are over in another area, but some very touristy ones that I cannot possibly see how they sell anything, I would not buy it, certainly. But selling they are, people in the aisles, going back and forth, to and fro. It was a shame the their famous clock was behind green netting undergoing restoration. Did find a store selling great postcards of it. Now what did I just say about it.
Major point of transportation and commerce. Fun to walk around, but very touristy. Though, we were lucky to catch a free dress rehearsal of a ballet in the open stage in the evening that was wonderful.
