Frosty Gloucestershire in the UK and then the big snow

I came across these photos the other day. 

I had really forgotten how amazing that snowfall was. Just before Christmas we had 12 inches and a couple of days later we had a further 18. It was amazing and we were snowed in for days.

This is how it started, a really hard frost and every bit of water was frozen

The following photo shows the fog over Winchcombe as I drove down the hill from beautiful sunshine

And then the snow came

The snow was still frozen hard on the ground throughout January
