I appreciate the work you are doing. As far as expanding, I think it would also be good to include post from SoCal Steemians who cover anything as long as the post is high quality. In other words, my cartoons are often about things that appeal to a wide audience and not particular to SoCal. So covering a good quality post could fit in these parameters if the group decided to spotlight what its members are doing.

The account and it's trail upvote every member that uses the tag no matter what the topic or even the quality (as long as it's not spam or plagiarism) of the post may be. Then from those posts we choose 5 quality posts to highlight in the SoCal Spotlight post each week. Also within the next week or so we'll be doing a SoCal Steemian of the week to further try to highlight all our awesome members! If you have any suggestions for how we could improve please let me know! I wanna hear everyone's ideas.
