11 अगस्त को लगने वाला सूर्य ग्रहण पांचवा व आखिरी ग्रहण है।
भारतीय समय के अनुसार सूर्यग्रहण 11 अगस्त की दोपहर 1 बजकर 32 मिनट पर शुरू होगा और शाम को 5 बजकर 1 मिनट पर ग्रहण खत्म होगा। सूर्य ग्रहण का सूतक 12 घंटे पहले लग जायेगा। ऐसे में ग्रहण का सूतक आज रात 1 बजकर 32 मिनट से प्रारम्भ होगा। ऐसे में 11 अगस्त की हमारी सुबह सूतक से होगी स्नातन धर्म मे सूतक में कई सारे काम करना अशुभ माना जाता है।
वैसे भारत में सूर्यग्रहण नहीं दिखने के कारण ग्रहण के सूतक को लेकर आपको परेशान होने की जरूरत नहीं है। चूंकि सूर्यग्रहण के साथ इस दिन शनि अमावस्या भी है इसलिए दान-पुण्य और पूजन करना शुभ रहेगा।
