"Boris by Yezda Urfa" (1975)

in #sonicgroove4 years ago (edited)

"Boris" (released in 1975) is a demo album produced by the American band, Yezda Urfa. Founded in the 70's, the group had as members: Brad Christoff: drums, percussion, Phil Kimbrough: keyboards, mandolin, wind instruments, voice, Mark Tippins: guitar, voice, Marc Miller: bass, cello, marimba, xylophone , voice and Rick Rodenbaugh: voice. Yezda Urfa's musical style fused several styles, since in some songs bits of blues, jazz, country were appreciated ... but fundamentally we can place them within the genre of progressive-symphonic rock (influenced by Yes and Gentle Giant) being with Happy The Man (another great band) one of the most refined groups in this style of music ... their music is very pleasant to listen to and of course highly recommended ...!
