Honestly, we keep shrinking the launch window for spacecraft because of all the crap we are leaving in orbit around our own planet. Yet we worry about exploiting (mining) in the asteroid belt 100 million miles away instead? GTFO! Insane.

Yeah!! There are many problems to solve before we can exploit resources out there. Solving space junk will be the number 1 priority if we are to make space a regular thing.
