Space Invaders
Space Invaders was a game from 1978, and was created by a Japanese man by the name of Tomohiro Nishikado.
His main idea was from a game he loved as a kid, and it was called breakout. He wanted to make something like it, and began to create space invaders.
If you watch this video, you will learn about what the story was with space invaders.
The game was about a small ship fighting against a horde of aliens coming from mars to invade earth.
You did have cover, but it can be destroyed. The aliens move to the right, then after reaching the edge of the screen, move down, and head left. The pattern goes on. If you are there too long, they will get you.
