El pequeño espacio

tomates madurando.jpg

The tomatoes begin to ripen. They are not excessively large, but I'm sure their flavor will be like last year's: incredibly sweet.
It is always this way with the fruits and vegetables that we sow in our houses. As these first months of the year have been extremely dry (in Lara, Venezuela, temperatures are usually very high in the day if one does not live in the mountains), and we have barely had access to water; I decided to create a small space a little shaded to have some tomatoes and spices on hand.
As you can see, the tomatoes I planted in pots, the clay usually keeps the earth fresher, and so the excessive heat did not affect them as much.
I also placed some seeds of black beans (caraotas), a basil, a rosemary, clover, mint and anamú (mapurite).
As it is beginning to rain the insects have already appeared, this seems to be one of the good ones, that is, of those that are going to eat aphids or any of those bugs that do not do well to our plants.

¡Excelente! Agradecida!

I loved the hopeful growing of edible plants in such a tiny space - especially in Venezuela and especially when you have had so little access to water! Thank you for the English language translation for us too - really thoughtful!

I sending this post off to the @c-squared curation community for you and hoping that can really help grow you support and your base of regular readers.
