Salvia
Hola chic@s, aunque muy de tarde en tarde publico, seguimos con las plantas medicinales. Esta semana os escribo sobre la Salvia, a la que se le asocia la siguiente cita "¿De qué podrá morir el hombre que tiene salvia en el huerto?", por las tantas propiedades curativas que se le atribuía.
La salvia es un arbusto originario del mediterráneo; sus hojas tienen forma oval y alargadas, son rugosas al tacto y pueden ser de color blanquecino o verde claro; sus flores son de color lila o moradas.
Propiedades: tiene cualidades antisépticas y astringente, se puede tomar una infusión o hacer gárgaras para tratar problemas de garganta, afecciones respiratorias y llagas en las encías; la tintura de sus hojas es un buen remedio para tonificar y calmar los nervios, y para los sofocos de la menopausia; en infusión como estimulante hormonal para regular la menstruación, pero tiene que evitarse durante el embarazo.
