Of course, von Trier has never been very subtle, but Nymphomaniac is almost parodically bombastic. An art-house version of Michael Bay, where explosions are replaced with cocks, pussies, tired provocations and high school commentaries on religion, psychology and art history. I'm not that impressed to be honest.
