CHURCH OF THE VIRGIN OF LORETO "PESQUERIA NUEVO LEON MEXICO"

  In 1830 a small chapel dedicated to the Virgin of Loreto was opened and on November 25, 1855 it was given the title of Patron of this community, the Church in honor of it has more than 100 years of construction and represents an architectural jewel worth visiting, located in the town centre, are constructions of more than a century ago and that are representative of the colonial epoch  

  It has a clock in the tower and in the villages was very useful, that is something that has been done in churches for centuries, used in the past to give the time and the bells so that people could be aware of it as in many homes there were no clocks ... and now is something that just everyone including the church must have. knowing the time is a need more.  

  It is also common to hear the bells announcing the death of a neighbor, this is known as ROGATION OR REPIQUE this custom still predominates in many communities. 

  ,In our church are the human remains of a native of the community with more than 100 years old   

  The 10th of December is the date in which homage is paid to the Virgin of Loreto, patron saint of the town and festivals are organized with dancers, popular vendimias and serenades to our virgin of Loreto.
