Win Double Winners, Barcelona Holds a Champion Parade
Barcelona: Barcelona supporters filled the streets of Catalan as Lionel Messi and his team-mates celebrated their La Liga and Copa del Rey titles on Monday 30 April.
A day after sealing their 25th La Liga title and seventh in 10 seasons, Barcelona showcased their two trophies on an open bus through city streets.
Barcelona recaptured the Spanish La Liga crown from Real Madrid thanks to a 4-2 win over Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday 29 April and is unbeaten to date. They confirmed, their fourth consecutive title in the Copa del Rey the week before by defeating Sevilla.
Players like Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Andres Iniesta, Ivan Rakitic and Marc-Andre ter Stegen are in a happy mood after their double winners. The celebration yesterday's championship parade was also a farewell to midfielder Iniesta ahead of his move to China Super League.
