Los Leones del Caracas amparados en un destacada labor ofensiva del cubano Félix Pérez derrotaron a los Tigres de Aragua 8 carreras por 6 en el segundo encuentro de la doble cartelera, entre ambos conjuntos, llevada a cabo esta martes 18 en el estadio Universitario de la ciudad capital donde los de la capital barrieron a los aragueños.

El jardinero zurdo, viejo conocido de la afición caraquista, Felix Pérez se lució con el madero impulsando 5 rayitas, jonrón incluido, para que los melenudos levantaran un juego que perdían 5x0 y, sin embargo, fueron capaces de remontar la diferencia para llevarse la victoria al final del encuentro.
“Estoy súper contento de poder producir y ayudar al equipo”, celebró Pérez. “Es increíble, íbamos perdiendo 5-0 pero todos queríamos regresar. Hay una química grandísima ahí adentro y no nos rendimos”.
El lanzador ganador del partido fue Alejandro Chacín quien nivelaba su récord a una victoria y una derrota, el serpentinero derrotado fue Juan Jaime (0-1), mientras que el salvado fue para Miguel Socolovich , su número 6 de la temporada.
