Ciclistas en Macagua

En Ciudad Guayana, la Avenida Sucre Figarella pasa junto a la represa de Macagua, sirviendo como la conexión más al sur entre San Félix y Puerto Ordaz y de acceso directo al maravilloso Parque La Llovizna. Los fines de semana, desde muy temprano, los ciclistas hacen de esta vía su lugar de entrenamiento.

Es un espacio ideal para la práctica deportiva, donde la fuerza del Río Caroní añade un extra de energía para quienes hacen su rutina de trote, pedaleo o caminata.

De un lado los aliviaderos de la represa, del otro el poderoso Río Caroní cargándonos con su energía y recordándonos la fuerza de la naturaleza. Definitivamente, un lugar que vale la pena visitar, sobretodo en la estación de lluvias, cuando casi siempre las compuertas de los aliviaderos están abiertas.
