Today´s menu in Venezuela (Menú del dia en Venezuela)
Good day steemian. Today I will show you how a menu is in my house. Due to the terrible food crisis that exists in Venezuela, in my country we are careful to cooking food that gives us the vitamins, proteins and carbohydrates that our body needs.
Buen día steemian. El día de hoy les enseñare como es un menú en mi casa. Debido a la terrible crisis alimentaria que existe en Venezuela, en mi país tenemos cuidado en preparar alimentos que nos brinden las vitaminas, proteinas y carbohidratos que nuestro organismo necesita.
In our house we are not accustomed to dinner, for this reason we serve in our lunches strong food, composed of three saucers called: soup, dry, and dessert.
En mi casa no estamos acostumbrados a cenar, por esta razón nosotros servimos en nuestros almuerzos comida fuerta, compuesta por tres platos denominados: sopa, seco, y postre.
SOUP
This is a soup of lentil with vegetables. The lentils is agrain famous for having a great contribution of proteins for the body in addition to producing satiety to the stomach.
Esta es una sopa de lentaja con verduras. Las lentejas son famosa por tener un gran aporte de proteínas para el cuerpo ademas de producir saciedad al estómago.
DRY
The dry is the main food, this dry that I present to you has yucca, yucca is the cheapest tuber in Venezuela, it is the one that helps us to hide the hunger of the people. The yucca is accompanied by a steak and a salad with tomato and onion seasoned with vinegar, salt and oil. When cassava is of good quality, it is a very tasty food.
El seco es la comida principal, este seco que les presento tiene yuca, la yuca es el tubérculo más barato en Venezuela, por lo tanto es el que nos ayuda a amortiguar el hambre de las personas. La yuca esta acompañado por un bistek y una ensalada con tomate y cebolla aderezado con vinagre, sal y aceite. Cuando la yuca es de buena calidad, es un alimento muy sabroso con estos acompañantes en sus comidas.
DESSERT
Our dessert is a golfeado, this is a typical Venezuelan dessert consisting of a roll, sweetened with papelon and sprinkled with white cheese, has a sweet and salty combination very delicious, this sweet is the most used right now since it is currently impossible to get sugar to make traditional desserts.
Nuestro postre es un golfeado, este es un postre típico venezolano que consiste en un panecillo, endulzado con papelón y espolvoreado con queso blanco, tiene una combinación dulce y salado muy deliciosa, este dulce es el más usado ahorita ya que actualmente es imposible conseguir azúcar para realizar los postres tradicionales.
DRINK
Guava juice, guava is a very popular and cheap Venezuela fruit, this drink has many important vitamins, its consumption is used to avoid anemia in the blood.
Jugo de guayaba, la guayaba es una fruta tipica de Venezuela muy popular y barata, esta bebida tiene muchas vitaminas importante, su consumo se usa para evitar la anemia en la sangre.
