Flor de Calabaza (Poema)

Amarilla o anaranjada con forma de estrella eres,
aunque también seas comestible, te conviertes en preámbulo
de tu fruto rico y nutritivo.

Muchos te llaman Cucurbita, yo simplemente flor, en flor
te has convertido para alimentar a los insectos diurnos.
Abejitas te aprovechan de tu solitaria estancia para así
poseerte.

Aunque tu fruto nace de una sola semilla, ella por dentro
posee muchas. Tus pétalos de belleza pura los compartes
con esplendorosa belleza.

Tus ramas se expanden con grandiosidad, marcando
territorio al más allá del terreno que te arrima con bondad;
Auyama, Zapallos o Calabaza le dieron de nombre al fruto
que das, dependiendo las regiones donde estas.

Te dedico este poema con gran sutileza, no aguante tomarte
foto por tanta nobleza, esa que produces sin tanto glamour
que poseen otras flores que no producen tu alimento y así
me tome mi tiempo para compartir mi emoción en esta gran
ocasión, auyama o calabaza que bella es tu flor.
