RE: SPIRITUAL FOOD 4 THOUGHT - HOW COME JESUS DIDN'T GET THE MEMO?

in #spirituality5 years ago

You surprised me here, it is interesting, that the only part of the Bible that GOD decided was so very important that he wrote that text himself, is the Ten Commandments! guess what part of the Bible receives the most focussed attack? The Ten Commandments!!!

The Sabbath, and the dietary REQUIREMENTS are unchanged! Only the Mosaic law was done away with on the cross, because that law was always looking forward to Christ; and he fufilled (per scripture) those needs. However, the feast days, not in the Mosaic law remain, as the Ten Commandments remain, as long as time exists! Because Christ said it was so.

Matthew 5:18 King James Version (KJV)

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Pretty clear.

Interesting how people always try to focus on "fulfilled" and seem to glance over "Till heaven and earth pass."

True, GOD never changes. He tells us this often! You surprised me by being a Sabbath keeper, I have found that same truth, and I eat by GOD's restrictions on food for the same reason; because HE said so!

You are just as weird as I am...that should scare us Both, ROFLOL! I enjoy your Bible videos.

No problem, I like them. I would do some myself, but the cameras are just too wimpy, ROFLOL!

I had a great Sabbath rest today, so I am ready for tomorrow! :)

@smithlabs what is the Mosaic law? I was under the impression that when people use the term Mosaic law they refer to all the laws found in the Old Testament that God gave. Personally I believe there's no such thing as Mosaic law, all the laws that were given we're given by God not Moses. I believe that all the laws God gave are still in effect for today, none of the laws were done away with on the cross, because as you said the Messiah stated that not one jot or tittle will pass from the law until heaven and Earth itself pass away.

Yes, the LAW was placed inside the Ark of the Covenant, and was written directly by GOD himself. These will never change!

Moses was instructed to write some laws that were heralding the coming of the Messiah, and were meant to introduce him, and were ceremonial, and were never intended to be permanent.

This law was added "till the seed should come," and that seed was Christ (Galatians 3:16, 19)

They were written by the hand of Man (Moses) and placed in the side of the Ark of the Covenant, and were against the saints.

Here is one article on it:

Basically this law was the one (NOT the ten Commandment LAW) that was rendered mute by Christ's sacrifice! Why would you sacrifice an Earthly lamb, when THE LAMB of GOD had already completed that work, for all eternity? This is why these ceremonial laws were done away with, they had looked forward to Christ's sacrifice, but when that was accomplished, they could no longer look forward to the Messiah.

BUT You nailed it in that GOD's LAW will last until the end of time! They are NOT the Ten SUGGESTIONS!

Be Blessed my friend, There is a lot of important information in the Bible! I learn new things every day. If I was not so dense I would have gleaned it the first time, but sometimes My head is thick, ROFLOL!

Well I disagree with you. God makes no distinction in his law. Those placed INSIDE the ark are the same placed on the outside of the ark. There is no such thing as dietary law or moral law or ceremonial law. These are man made constructs meant to divide the law of God.

Paul is just a man like you and I and he does not have the authority to do away with any of God's laws. I would be willing to bet all these "ceremonial" laws you think are done away with have a "YHVH spoke to Moshe and said speak to the children of Israel and say Thus saith YHVH" before each of them. These would all fall under the law of God therefore not one jot or tittle (smallest letter and biggest letter) can pass from them til Heaven and Earth are no more.

I always let the Bible interpret the Bible. There are a number of verses that refer to God's LAW, versus the Mosaic law. GOD's law is forever, but the Mosaic law was intended to be temporary per GOD's word in the Bible:

This law was added "till the seed should come," and that seed was Christ (Galatians 3:16, 19)

Do you still sacrifice animals, and turn out the Scape Goat? These are no longer needed, because Christ filled that sacrifice for all time. As YHVH had intended from the beginning. This is also why GOD Himself separated the veil in the Temple, and Left, when Christ Died on the cross, exposing the Holy of Holies.

This article explains, using the Bible, the difference. This does not threaten GOD's law, but rather support it.

Please show me, using the Bible, that these versus (in this article) are cancelled, and the versus guiding us to the Messiah are incorrect, and should be ignored.

I believe that the Bible is 100% accurate, and means exactly what it says.
