The beauty of every journey, race or contest is finishing, it is even more beautiful when one finished strong

I welcome you all this prestigious institution of learning but before we go further, I want to share with you a story of 3 students.

The first started out her journey with the intention of graduating with a good grade. She did all that was required of her, studied hard but along the way she got frustrated. The burden of knowledge is too heavy, she became frustrated and managed to badge his degree

The second began without a fore knowledge of how to go about his success. He's confused, didn't set his priorities right, got caught up in the wind of ! youthful lust. He lost focus on the initial essence of his studentship and regretted it.

Then here's the last person, she came in with the mindset to succeed but also knew she couldn't achieve success without the God-factor. She focused on her studies and deep her faith on the promises of God. She struck a balance between her academics and her God. She knew God is the source of every good thing. And God did not let her down

I want you to know, the race is not for the swift nor the battle for the strong, it is of God that shows mercy.

Except God is in the picture of anything you do, you will keep beating the bush and your effort might not amount to anything.

Remember the Lord your God in the days of your youth, before the silver cord is broken and you soul flies into eternal realm, for you'll give account to him on that day
