Champions league continues today!

Tottenham and Liverpool got a win yesterday. They were at home and they did what they were suppose to do; defend their home. Both teams tried all they could to make sure the opponents didn't get an away goal. It wasn't easy but it did happened. Tottenham won Manchester City by 1 goal to nil, while Liverpool won Porto by 2 goals to nil. Since the home teams won yesterday, would it be appropriate to say the home teams will win today?

Ajax and Manchester United are at home today. Unfortunately for them, they will be playing against powerful opponents. While Ajax will be facing Juventus, Manchester United will be facing Barcelona, the only Spanish team left in the competition. Actually, aside the four English teams that qualified to this stage, the other four are from different leagues. A big congrats to the English teams then. They have a huge chance of winning the trophy. Two of them won yesterday, let's hope the last one yet to play wins.

Ajax vs Juventus

Ajax is also a strong side. Just as Juventus is the best team in Italy, they are the best in Netherlands. They were responsible for the elimination of the defending champions, Real Madrid, so Juventus should better watch out! Tadic is currently the highest goal scorer in the competition, another problem to watch out for. Everyone is tipping Juventus to qualify easily, but since this is football, we shouldn't be surprised if it happens the other way round.

It's just a matter of time to find out.

Manchester United vs Barcelona

This is the match everyone is waiting for. Both teams have huge fans, so a very big crowd should be seen today. It will be played in Old Trafford; Manchester United will probably give in all their best to avoid being trashed in Nou Camp. If their chances of qualifying can be determined, this first leg is the right time to know. There's nothing more to say than to wish both teams good luck.
