Basket Arena

Alma Arena is a covered arena in Trieste. It has 6 943 seats, arranged in a ring around the game parquet. On May 25, 2011 it was formally named after the great Triolith polymlete Cesare Rubini, who died in the same year

The plant, owned by the Municipality of Trieste, hosts the home games of the major city basketball teams, while in the past it has been home to the home matches of the main Trieste-based volleyball teams (such as the AdriaVolley Trieste and the Virtus Pallavolo Trieste, quest last female).

It is also used to host concerts and large assemblies, both political and religious.

In December 2016, for sponsorship reasons, it officially assumed the name of PalaRubini Alma Arena. The naming agreement for the plant does not have a predefined duration, but is closely linked to the Triestine basketball company, which will receive a specific "royalty" from Alma for the entire duration of the agreement.
