Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Loris was arrested tonight in London after being caught driving after drinking. The Frenchman was stopped by a police patrol around 2:20 am on Friday morning, then checked with a trooper and subsequently detained. The World Champion spent about seven hours in detention before he was officially charged. Once this happened, Loris was released.

The Tottenham Guard will have to appear in court on September 11th.
On Monday, Tottenham stayed at Manchester United at Old Trafford in a third round of the Premier League.
