M-Sport Ford still has potential for top places

Elfyn Evans showed the whole rally world that M-Sport Ford is not a crap yard after Seb Ogier left them at the end of season 2018. Suninen also showed some speed on the last event before Mexico and that was in Sweden. He briefly led the rally in Sweden.

Evans finished 3rd overall after being second for some time during the rally in Mexico. That means the Ford Fiesta WRC still has top speed and potential BUT with the right hands behind a steering wheel.

And that hands has to be paid. They won't have wins with paying drivers. That ddn't happen for a looong time. And it won't happen in time to follow, it seems.

If you want results, you have to invest and to pay the right driver who can win and who has the mentality for winning. You saw what Ogier did with their crappy car - he won two driver's championships and gave the private team one manufacturer's crown.

We will see how they will cope with the problems while season will progress ahead...
