The javelin throw looks cool. You do have to be careful not to hit your friends (or strangers) when you're practicing though.
You definitely can make money on Steemit, but it takes a lot of work and a lot of time to get there. If you're expecting to get quick money, it probably won't happen. I don't want to discourage you, but to give you reasonable expectations. I posted for over a month with getting minimal results. Even now with the price of Steem so low, it can be difficult.
Keep at it and make sure to write quality, original posts and you'll have a place that people will want to come. Make sure to visit other people's blogs and comment with thoughtful, original comments to build a relationship with them.
