[Premier League]: Review of the 31st round.

Hello! Today will be a bit unusual review. The 31st round was actually dispersed for three months and from the usual, ordinary tour, during that time he turned into a fateful team for many. Several matches of the 31st round were held in mid-March, one match was held in mid-April, the remaining matches were scattered almost throughout the current week.

To begin with, let us recall a bit about those matches that took place on March 17th.

Liverpool defeated Watford with a score of 5-0, Mohamed Salah then held one of his best matches scoring four goals. Emre Can, having received damage in this match, was eliminated before the end of the season. Bournemouth defeated West Bromwich 2-1 before the resignation of Alan Pardew remained one match. Swansea City - Southampton

For two months, this confrontation has turned from an ordinary to a match for six points. The confrontation between two teams fighting for 17th place in the table, with both teams having the same number of points. At the same time, the result of this match also influenced one more team - West Brom, a draw result left the "throstles" the chances of continuing the fight. The first half of the team was careful not to risk in vain. The second half began with a dangerous moment at the gate of Southampton, the goalkeeper makes a beautiful save and does not allow the "saints" to open an account. But then dangerous moments began to arise more often at the gate Swansea, "swans" did not seem to be the masters of the field and tried to play more from the defense. This did not help, in one of the attacks the "saints" struggled, but pushed the ball into the goal Swansea by making score 0-1. There was another 18 minutes and the Welshmen had nothing to lose in this match, but they could not create something serious at the gate of Alex McCarthy. And eventually Manolo Gabbiadini probably saves the "saints" from relegation to the Championship. Everything will be decided in the last round, but West Bromwich after this match said goodbye to the Premier League.

Chelsea - Huddersfield Town

It was a match of the 35th round, and it also decided the fate of several teams. Chelsea came close to the Top 4 and has every chance to regain a place in the Champions League, especially after defeating Liverpool. Huddersfield Town after its not an outstanding game in the last round came very close to the relegation zone. Draw with Man City was extremely important for the "terriers", but to save them they needed at least one more point. But for this it was necessary to hold one more difficult match against the team which is much higher class. And Huddersfield was able to score, having actually played the same match as several days earlier against the City. The whole match Chelsea was looking for ways to break through the defense of the "terriers", and those in addition at the beginning of the second half and opened an account. Chelsea quickly recouped, after 12 minutes account equalized Marcos Alonso. This draw has benefited Liverpool, who in the last round is just one point to save space in the Top 4.

And, perhaps, another match that made a difference in this round of Tottenham - Newcastle. "Spurs" only one point ahead of Chelsea at the end of the match "retirees", and for them there were no more options than winning this round.
