World Cup 2018 - Quarterfinal

This is truly the year of the Dark Horses for the World Cup 2018. The lesser teams have really given the more fancy teams a run for their money. There are no easy rides for all the big guns, and some even have to wait until the last minute to win or even a shootout luck to qualify for the quarterfinal, after a big scare of course.

Firstly, a big CONGRATULATIONS to France, Uruguay, Russia, Croatia, Brazil, Sweden, Belgium, and England for qualifying. You may ask fans of all the teams that have qualified and they will surely say that it was a hell of a match to be able to get through and of course pure lucks helped them all the way. I have to say, Mexico, Japan, and Colombia were unfortunate not to qualify after giving their respective opponents a real kick on their backside. They could have won, but the gulf in quality and the depth of their quality substitutes played a major role in determining the winner. After the conclusion of the last sixteen matches, 6 European teams and 2 South American teams have qualified, it is the end of the road for the sole representative for Asia, which is Japan. I think Japan should be given more recognition and respect in the future, all other teams will be wary when facing them in the future after seeing how good their side is tormenting their oppositions. They surely is Asia's best Football Team.

During my last post World Cup 2018 - Round of 16, I made a prediction of which teams that might be qualified for the quarterfinal, and made 6 correct predictions against 8. I think that is not bad at all. So, for the quarterfinal, this is my predictions.
