This is a bittersweet trade for me. I am a huge fan of Talon. He is a nasty piece of work who will punch you in the mouth to let you know he is there. I will miss having one of the best corners in the game out there protecting our sideline. At the same time it does free up a ton of cash for John to go out and make some magic happen. I’m on the fence with Cousins now that I watched the Combine. I don’t want to necessarily pay Cousins a ridiculous salary when we just might be able to get a franchise QB in either Josh Allen or Baker Mayfield in the draft and for a lot cheaper right now. I’m looking forward to next week when free absence opens up and Elway goes out and earns his pay!!! Go Broncos Go!!!!!!!
Oh man I didn't realize we lost Talib! I've always loved him and what he brought to our defense. Should be interesting to see the Crabtree/Talib rivalry now. Who do you think we will get as a QB? It sure would be nice to see the Broncos get another solid QB. I know our defense won us Super Bowl 50, but I really miss having a legendary QB like Elway on the team.
We have quite the "stockpile" of picks. I don't think its not the greatest move with Talib but not a bad one, just look what happened to Revis. I don't want Cousins on a 3-year deal that's not team friendly. I cannot wait for free agency then we can focus on the draft when the Cousins finds a new home. We need to trade up some of these 4 and 5th rounders to find a few extras in the 3rd round. Fans are not going anywhere no matter what happens. A shitty season got us Von Miller SuperBowl 50 MVP so I am excited for this years draft. Thanks Josh hahaha....
