France - The 2018 World Cup Winner With a 4-2 Victory against Croatia in Moscow(Russia)
Today the World has finally come to an end as France emerged winner with a stunning 4-2 victory over Croatia.
Actually I was supporting Croatia but it turns out to be that the odds was in favor of France although the both teams played exceptionally well, but you know in every competition, there has to be a winner..

Due to today's victory, record now has it that Didier Deschamps, a French coach has become the third person in history to win the trophy as both a player and a manager. The other two are Franz Beckenbauer and Mario Zagallo.
Croatia played very well, but they loose the match due to certain mistakes on the part of its players as Mario Mandzukic scored an own goal. Although, thanks to Perisic who equalized with a swift strike from the edge of the box.
The second goal from France was a penalty kick as punishment to Perisic for handball which resulted to a 2-1 keeping France ahead at half time. This penalty kick was awarded after being reviewed with the use of VAR.
The extra two goals from France were scored in quick succession by Paul Pogba and Mbappe respectively keeping France ahead of Croatia with 4-1.
Croatia was able to score their second goal due a terrible mistake from Hugo Lloris which gave Mandzukic the chance to spice up the game a little with one goal. Keeping the game at 4-2 but France was still leading.
Conclusion
France was able to hold Croatia at the 4-2 spot until the end of the game making it their second World Cup trophy win. The first was their win on their home soil in 1998.
