The previews this weekend will be very basic as I'm still in France on vacation. I've been reading up on all the match reports in the newspaper so should still have a good grip on what exactly is going on in the league. Bets will likely be kept to a minimum. I should be back in my place on Saturday before the start of the late matches...

Standard vs Anderlecht

I have been writing about how Standard coach starts with a more defensive-minded approach and this was again the case in the match against Club Brugge where they had everything under control until there was an own goal. This totally shook them up and quickly resulted in the 2-0. Their coach addressed this and it will have been a good learning lesson for the next time. I do expect him to keep a primary focus on staying organized during their matches in these playoffs. Anderlecht lost at home against Antwerp and is now in a real crisis, they have been on my fade list since the start of the Play-offs but it's hard to say the line was not adjusted properly the last match. Anderlecht players still believe they can win away in Standard and are in somewhat of denial about the overall quality of the team. My lean is on Standard -0.25 @ 1.9+ . Standard will be without important defender Vanheusden though and I am keeping a low betting profile currently. The under 1H also attracts me but I generally don't like to take unders in matches from Struggling top teams. I will do what I can to follow this match live on the internet radio. Right now I have no bets placed but when I do end up taking anything I will make sure to let something know on the SBC Discord.
