Alexander Povetkin vs Christian Hammer set for December 15th as a WBO eliminator

Former WBA Regular heavyweight champion, Alexander Povetkin has been scheduled to fight Christian Hammer in a WBO world title eliminator for the chance to fight for Joseph Parker's WBO heavyweight championship. Despite Povetkin's talent and skill, this news will not be welcomed by many boxing fans after Alexander Povetkin twice tested positive for banned substances in 2016. Povetkin is on 3 strikes and you're out, any more slip ups would mark the end of the Russian boxers career as he is 40 years old in September 2019.
