Wallabies vs Ireland - Game 2 - Preview

Well ladies and gentlemen it looks we can strap ourselves in for a fiery Game 2 of the mid season test matches between Australia and Ireland after the Wallabies rousing win in game 1 in Brisbane. The Aussies really took it to the number 2 ranked in the World Irish team with some big physical defense early to unsettle them and were able to hold the physicality the whole match. The return of David Pocock cant be underestimated either, he was an absolute menance at the breakdown, constantly slowing down Irelands ball and flow of possession with well timed steals, he also crashed over for a try to seal the game. His influence will once again be immense in Game 2 of the series.

Ireland will be determined to bounce back in the 2nd test to keep the series alive and have drafted some of there big guns back in to help them, they have made eight changes to their starting XV, with Leinsterman Cian Healy, Tadhg Furlong, Devin Toner, Dan Leavy, Johnny Sexton and Garry Ringrose restored, while Munster's Niall Scannell and Andrew Conway also come in to start at hooker and wing. Johny Sexton will be the key, one of the best players in the world he will be charged with pushing them around the field in his expert way.

Coach Chieka has named unchanged line up from the team that did the job so well in Game 1, i believe they will need more points in them this week though and have to sharpen up there attack which looked fairly one dimensional in Brisbane. I am tipping Ireland to bounce back but Australia to win a very tight game and take the series.
