Salah is like Ronaldo, not Messi
Mo Salah has really been on fire this season, the question is; does he play like Ronaldo or like Messi? He has netted 31 goals in all competitions so far, and this has led to comparisons with Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo, Well i think the ex Liverpool defender has said he believes that M. Salah is more like Christiano Ronaldo than he is to Lionel Messi.

For as long as i could remember, Mo Salah has being compared to Lionel Messi long before he joined Liverpool. I know pretty well that Messi is good in anything football, recently the Iran boss made a joke statement that Messi was too good, and so should be banned by FIFA. Messi tops La liga in goals and basically every other statistical section too.

Messi does not only dominates the league's scoring charts which is 23, but he also has the most shots amounting to 147, he has the most dribbles which is about 138 and the most assist about 22, this achievements are leading almost all sections.

While Christiano Ronaldo has 14 La liga goals and 28 across all competitions for Madrid done by his own exceptional standards, Aside form a potential Champions League three peat, Portugal captain, he is also the all time leading scorer and most capped player whom is also targeting World Cup glory. This player has a lot achievements in football.
Could Mo Salah be compared to the level of this two great players in history?
Though Carragher believes that parallels has been drawn between the two players to M. Salah, due to the fact that Salah plays more like a striker than a winger. I know that Salah has the mindset of a prolific striker than a winger. Messi likes to come deeper for the ball and involve himself in the build up.
carragher thinks that Salah fits the C. Ronaldo ways of football better than that of Messi. Obviously Mo Salah cannot be compared to the level of either Messi or Ronaldo, though there are some comparisons on how they play the game of football. I also think Salah has more of Ronaldo's approach to football than that of Messi.
Although probably M. Salah would have preferred or enjoyed to be compared directly to Lionel Messi, but i hope he would not take any offence from caragher's comments. We hope to see M. Salah in action when Liverpool host Newcastle on Saturday.

Salah is salah, his style of play is quite different to both Ronaldo and messi . He plays on the wings but always seems to find space to cut inside and he is as deadly as any player in front of goal. Oh Chelsea what have you done ?
That's arguably a good description of Ronaldo's style as well, they're not completely the same of course but Ronaldo cuts to the center as well while he always starts his attacks on the wings.
Salah is an awesome player and I expect his form to be even better next season.
Salah has been going good this year but the bigger question is that can he do this next year, the number of players who perform great one year in the premier league and then do nothing the next is starting to grow.

I strongly disagree. Any attribute you want to use for comparison shows similarity to messi.
Personally, I think he's far different from the two and there's no need for the comparison except perhaps in terms of goals scored but not playing style. Salad although has been prolific but he's not as skillful as either of them. He's more of a direct player compared to the skillful approach of Messi and Ronaldo, even though Messi is a better dribbler of the lot.
Hmm,I think mo Salah is more like messi than Ronaldo,he has been really fantastic this season,messi has also been also,Ronaldo not done much and that is because the whole team are not playing well.

please don't bring comparison into this..Salah is currently at his best form right now and I wont be surprised if he wins the PFA player of the year.he has been excellently phenomenon until he proves this in next 6-7 seasons by winning his club titles then we can sit down and compare him but right now leave messi and ronaldo out of this.
