The Art of Judo
Hi guys, aside from running, I also practice judo. Picture shown above is the philosophy of the art, minimum effort maximum efficiency.
I have been practising this sport since 2011. I practice judo because I come from a family of martial art. All of my family members practice karate, taekwondo and judo. I chose judo because I am a big fan off WWE, and some moves are actually similar to judo.😂
Judo in the modern world is more than a sports, is an art and a way of life. Respect, honor and friendship. Furthermore judo has thought me to be patience and to control my mind, as it is derived from ancient deadly samurai martial art.
My grandmaster once told me, being a champion doesnt give you a black belt, and having a black belt doent make u a champion. This philosophy means no matter how good you are, there is always someone is better than you, stay humble.
Aside from him, my seniors (senpai), taught me, no matter how strong you are, brute force is nothing without skill, because the older your are, the less you strength you have. Therefore, skill overcome strength. For me, after practicing this art for so many years, I can conclude that, once u conquer your mind, You can control your body.
