Stephen Curry has broken all the records of contracts by signing a 5 year 201 mln dollars contract. Curry's last contract was worth 44 mln $ for 4 years, meaning 11 mln $ per season.

Curry has undoubtedly earned every penny of that contract with his play over the last few years. He will be the highest paid player in NBA history !

If there was one criticism to be had on Curry it was that he had seemingly come up short in the Warriors two previous Finals appearances. But Curry shut those concerns down by averaging 26.8 points, 9.4 assists, and 8.0 rebounds in the Warriors five-game victory over the Cavaliers, a performance that would garner Finals MVP in most years.
