Houston Rockets defeated San Antonio Spurs
San Antonio Spurs who has an excellent record prior to their basketball match against Houston Rockets and determined to have a streak win in the preseason period but it seems they were being halted by the Houston Rockets from doing so.
Dejounte Murray who has been quite doing great against Miami Heat and Detriot Piston didn't seem to put a good output on their recent match against Houston Rockets wherein it was really been a bad outcome for Spurs where one of their core players having an early injury prior to the opening of the regular season.
Now that Spurs firepower had been lessened and few players like DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge will somewhat do the work on his stead. It was a clear disadvantage for the Spurs but still, they put up a great fight against Houston Rockets even though they had James Harden who is always on fire and Chris Paul on his assistance. This only means that Spurs haven't gone their light out even if they are missing some core players.
Another alternative of Antonio Spurs is to make usefully of Marco Belinelli on the offensive part if they want to play head-to-head with teams like Houston Rockets. After some superstars out from San Antonio Spurs they still put hold on the usual strategy of their head coach Gregg Popovich.
Still, I know that the Spurs will still make it to playoffs as per their current line up and shown performance in preseason but I would still consider that Houston Rockets can still be their rival in Southwest Division under the Western Conference.
